Singapore serenade

One more week in this place... I can't wait to get to some real friends again. New Years sucked. I got drunk for the first time in my life. It actually felt good. I am getting really tested; meeting hot guys and all kinds of things. I told you I wasn't the most innocent girl; and I usually cruise through life doing whatever falls into place. But now I realize these are tests--Krishna wants to see what choices I make. I'm starting to make more conscious choices now. Now as in starting last night. I read this great article in a stupid singapore fashion magazine. It was called Me, Inc. It was about managing your life like a business. Writing your definition/ vision/mission. Then, the "Critical Criteria" for accomplishing your mission. They have to be in 7 categories, in order of importance. Then there are short and long term goals for each category. Here it is:

Critical Success Factors:
1. Spiritual Fulfilment.

• long term goals:
• sadhana
• spend time with Krishna internally
• honesty with Krishna
• excell in all areas in life to serve Krishna

2. Emotional Wellbeing.

• accomplish goals
• rejoice in victories/accomplishments= pat myself on the back
• do meditation/yoga
• listen to good music

3. Career Achievement

• Put 100% in Worlds Within. (i'll blog about that later)
• keep organized--use time efficiently
• work hard at school
• create my "Indian Importables" business

4. Strong Relationships

• email old friends
• call family regularly
• don't hold back from loving my friends; doing things for them
• keep open communication
• don't flirt with taken men
• reach out to close friends when I need help

5. Intellectual Stimulation

• read more
• write more
• study more sanskrit
• read bhagavatam/bhagavad gita
• spend more energy in school

6. Physical Health

• yoga daily
• exercise regularily
• eat right
• take care of skin

7. Financial Security

• Get indian bank account
• don't shop unecessarily
• keep accounts of everything.
